『蝶と朝顔』は、伊豆半島の最南端にある港町・子浦に生まれた孤高の画家、矢谷長治の軌跡を辿ったルポルタージュの小品です。2021年9月から11月まで伊豆新聞に掲載された記事と書き下ろしエッセイ、長治の妻である矢谷千景氏の寄稿を収録しました。子鹿社代表の田邊詩野による初の著作。
"Butterfly and Morning Glory" is a short reportage that traces the trajectory of Choji Yatani, a solitary painter born in Koura, a port town on the southern Izu Peninsula. Includes articles and newly written essays published in the Izu Newspaper from September to November 2021, as well as contributions from Choji's wife Chikage Yatani. This is the first book written by Utano Tanabe, the representative of Kojikasha.
